Mission Statement

• As an educational, non-profit organization, the Heartland Dulcimer Club will endeavor to share the music of the mountain dulcimer, hammered dulcimer and other traditional instruments. We will preserve the roots of these instruments by playing the traditional music for which they were created

• We will make the Club available for entertainment in our community in order to share the history and music of dulcimers

• We will enjoy playing traditional music as a group and individually

• We will guide individuals seeking to play mountain/hammer dulcimers and other traditional instruments whenever possible
