Heartland Dulcimer Club

The Heartland Dulcimer Club is a group of musicians who enjoy playing traditional instruments. The club meets at 2:00pm on the second and fourth Monday of every month (excluding major holidays) at Our Place, 790 North Dixiein Elizabethtown KY. Instruments are acoustic and include: Mountain and Hammered Dulcimer, guitar, banjo, autoharp, ukulele, fiddle, mandolin, harmonica, and more. The group plays a variety of music from traditional to classical.

The club started in 1994 with a small group of enthusiastic dulcimer players. During the past, the Heartland Dulcimer Club has sponsored a weekend music festival. The highlight of the weekend was the Saturday night concert. The 2017 and 2019 concerts were featured on Kentucky Educational Television.
