Welcome to our Club
The Heartland Dulcimer Club meets at 6: 30 pm on the first and third Monday of every month (barring major holidays) at the First Presbyterian Church in Elizabethtown KY. The Club is a wonderful group for those who play the mountain or hammer dulcimer or who wish to learn more about these instruments. Individuals who play traditional instruments (guitar, mandolin, banjo, fiddle, autoharp, etc.) are also encouraged to join.

Mission Statement

As an educational, non-profit organization, the Heartland Dulcimer Club will endeavor to share the music of the mountain dulcimer, hammered dulcimer and other traditional instruments. We will preserve the roots of these instruments by playing the traditional music for which they were created

We will make the Club available for entertainment in our community in order to share the history and music of dulcimers

We will enjoy playing traditional music as a group and individually

We will guide individuals seeking to play mountain/hammer dulcimers and other traditional instruments whenever possible
Membership Information

Initial membership fee is $25.00. Members will receive access to the club's music library, copies of current playlists and a subscription to the monthly newsletter.

The membership fee for subsequent years is a donation of $10.00. The donation is tax-deductible as the Heartland Dulcimer Club is a registered non-profit, tax-exempt organization.

Club meetings take place on the first and third Mondays of every month at 6:30 pm at the First Presbyterian Church in Elizabethtown, KY. Please feel free to attend a meeting or two before deciding to join.
